About the LPPAA
Who is the Long Point Phragmites Action Alliance (LPPAA)?
The Long Point Phragmites Action Alliance (LPPAA) was formed in May 2015. The intent of this Alliance is to develop a united and well planned management approach for controlling Invasive Phragmites in the Long Point region that is effective, efficient and environmentally responsible. The LPPAA is a community group made up of a wide range of organizations including agricultural organizations, hunting and fishing clubs, cottage associations, and environmental groups with a common interest in eradicating the invasive plant Phragmites australis.
